Grandridge Eye Clinic Chooses VisiVite Eye Vitamins

Recently, VisiVite.com interviewed Dr. Kendal Piatt, O.D., from Grandridge Eye in Kennewick, Washington. The doctors at Grandridge selected VisiVite Macular Degeneration Formulas above all other manufacturers and brands for their patients with macular degeneration.

VisiVite.com:
Tell us about your practice.

Dr. Piatt:
Grandridge Eye Clinic has been seeing patients since 1998 although the original owner, Dr. Quesnell has been practicing in the Tri-Cities for 30 years. Currently, there are three O.D.s on staff including myself, Dr. Quesnell and Dr. Newton who is our fill in. We see approximately 120 patients per week with about 15% having or being at risk for macular degeneration. Our address is 7401 W. Grandridge Blvd, Suite 202 Kennewick, WA 99336. Our website is www.GrandridgeEyeClinic.com

VisiVite.com:
How is your practice unique in your care of patients?

Dr. Piatt:
Here at Grandridge Eye Clinic we take pride in a thorough and efficient appointment. We choose to stay on the cutting edge with our equipment so that we can give the best possible exams. Customer service is extremely important to us and we want our patients to walk out of our office with the knowledge that we strive to be both professional and caring.

VisiVite.com:
What is the opinion of the doctors in the practice toward nutritional supplementation for macular degeneration?

Dr. Piatt:
Using the AREDS as our reference we became aware of the importance of nutritional supplements in the prevention of the progression of macular degeneration. This along with various other studies on the importance of vitamins for general eye health prompted us to look for a supplement that fit the needs of our patients.

VisiVite.com:
With macular degeneration supplements from large pharmaceutical firms available to patients in pharmacies, why did you make the decision to offer VisiVite Formulas to your patients?

Dr. Piatt:
Visivite showed itself to be the only company who took pains to offer the ratio of different vitamins initially determined by AREDS.
