Ophthalmologist reports my eyes are stable and look better than last year! This is exciting to someone with macular degeneration. Thank heavens I found VisiVite and Dr. Krawitz.
Thank goodness for VisaVite The only eye pill without vitamin E which I am allergic to.
Easy to take and my macular degeneration is not progressing.
According to my eye professional my vision has not deteriorated since I started taking this product.
Looking for RESVERATROL

My father (91 y.o.) and I have been taking ared 2 since it was released. Took its predecessor for years. He is being treated for smd, and is injected with lucentis virtually every 5 weeks. He has been on pradaxa for about a year no. No one ever cautioned against vitamin E. Before I reorder my usual supply of 2, can you advise whether he should be switched to the E free formulation. Thanks.
Generally, high doses of Vitamin E are to be avoided for patients on COUMADIN. Consult with your father's doctor to determine if he/she wants him to avoid high doses of Vitamin E while on PRADAXA.
Hi, i live in Istanbul/Turkey. Is there any way to get this vitamin shipped to my country. \'cause, it\'is not sold in Turkey. Thanx.
If you have any friends or family who live in the U.S., we could ship your order to them and then they could ship the order to you but otherwise, we are not able to ship to Turkey.
Was i defense E free recently changed? Color of capsule was blue and now white speckled.
VisiVite i-Defense E-Free has been improved and renamed VisiVite AREDS2 E-Free Blue Formula. The changes include: Now made with natural OmniXan zeaxanthin from marigolds rather than synthetic OPTISHARP, removed titanium dioxide and artificial blue color to capsules, change from gelatin to vegetarian capsules. VisiVite AREDS2 E-Free Blue Formula is recommended for people with macular degeneration who take anticoagulants, or who wish to avoid Vitamin E for other reasons.
I was told to avoid Vitamin K, but was not told anything about avoiding Vitamin E while I'm on anticoagulants.
Vitamin K can reduce the effect of anticoagulants while Vitamin E can increase the effect of anticoagulants, in some patients. Therefore, some doctors recommend that their patients taking anticoagulants should avoid supplements containing Vitamin E. VisiVite AREDS2 E-Free Formula contains 20 mg FloroGLO natural lutein from marigolds, 4.75 mg OmniXan natural zeaxanthin from paprika, 40 mg zinc oxide, 500 mg Vitamin C, and numerous other antioxidants to support the health of the macula.
Is this product recommended for those with dry eye, or do you have a better product for this condition? I would like to find replacement for Restasis which is not helping that much.
VisiVite AREDS2 E-Free Blue Formula is designed for macular health, particularly in patients who take anticoagulants and need to avoid Vitamin E. For dry eye symptoms, we recommend VisIVite Dry Eye Relief, which you can find by entering "Dry Eye Relief" in the search box at the top of this page.
Are there any herbs in this vitamin. My mother is having knee replacement surgery in 2 weeks, and her doctor said she shouldn\'t have any Vitamin E or any herbs and no fish oil within 10 before and 10 days after her surgery.
VisiVite AREDS 2 E-Free Blue Formula contains no Vitamin E, herbs or omega 3 fish oil. The FloraGLO Lutein is from marigold flowers, and the OmniXan zeaxanthin is from paprika.
I have had a stroke and and I on Plavix and aspirin. I also have wet macular degeneration in one eye. What would be the appropriate formula
Your doctors will be appreciative of your using a macular degeneration formula without Vitamin E, such as VisiVite AREDS 2 Blue Formula.
