Works well with MD vitamins. Have used it for 10 years because it provides only vitamins necessary in conjunction with MD vitamins.
I have been using it I am thinking 30 years it seems to be helping the eyes
Why include D2 instead of D3
While absorption of D3 is greater than D2, VisiVite uses D2 in its Co-Defense formula because it is 100% vegetarian and vegan. D3 is extracted from sheep's wool fat.
In the product description, it says it removes Vitamin A, C, E, Zinc and Copper. So how does it remove them? and why put some of those in your eye vitamins then take them out?
Most customers purchase eye vitamins from VisiVite.Com. When they desire to add a multivitamin, we do not include those ingredients that are already in their eye vitamin, so that they do not inadvertently ingest double those ingredients. Additionally, Co-Defense includes triple the water soluble B-vitamins found in big-name brand multivitamins.
this product is considert vegiterian or vegan?
Vegetarian
Why not include a small amount of Vitamin A (beta-carotene), since it is not included in the AREDS2 formula?
AREDS2 found that beta-carotene interfered with the absorption and effectiveness of the two more beneficial carotenoids, lutein and zeaxanthin. In other words, eyes did WORSE with beta-carotene.
