I consider myself uniquely qualified to comment on Co-defense tablets which I have been taking now for nearly three years. Before commencing with Visivite tablets I was suffering severe distortion of vision as a golfer when standing over the ball it appeared at times to waver back and forwards not good for my handicap . I was referred to Moorefield's Hospital in London who diagnosed severe Dry form M.D. said there was no treatment available but consoled me with the assurance that if it got worse i.e. developed into the wet form, they would provide emergency laser treatment to stop any internal bleeding. Having read on the internet about the AREDS trials I asked the Consultant whether it was worth trying. He advised they had no experience but suggested I try it out. This led me to the VisiVite site and I have religiously taken the tablets ever since. The outcome was  a gradual improvement in my vision and a reduction in the distortion. At my annual eye checks my Optician claims my sight has strengthened over each of the last two years. He now advises other clients to try the AREDS formulae. At nearly 75 years of age I am grateful to AREDS/VisiVite for improving my quality of life in the remaining years.

Since I have been taking the VisiVite vitamins for the macular Degeneration that I have, I can tell a difference. I am so glad that these vitamins came out  and that I found out about them. Before I ordered these from VisiVite, I tried to order the vitamins for the macular that was for smokers. This lady told me that there was no difference in the vitamins. I had a heated discussion with her in regard to this. I received a pamphlet from your company about the difference and I sent a copy of this to the people that run a Vitamin store here in our town. She called me and told me that she appreciated this information and that she had not been aware of the difference. I have been using your products ever since I was diagnosis with ARMD in my left eye 2 & 1/2 years ago.  My doctor did not believe nutrition would have much of an effect on the disease.  I went on line and did as much research as possible on the disease, treatments and possible impact of a nutrition.  Most of what I learned was that diet and vitamins did have a positive affect on the disease.  I began taking Co-defense and VisiVite i-Defense Gold formula almost immediately.  I also has an experimental procedure on my left eye to stop the bleeding.  The procedure was very successful. I can't say it was the medical procedure or the vitamins or a combination of both but my vision has improver to 20/25 in my left eye and my doctor says I am doing great.  I will continue taking the vitamins and hopefully I will continue to hear from my doctor "You are doing great".

My 90 year-old mother is suffering from Macular Degeneration. She has been taking the VisiVite plus formula for two years and then, for the third year, the VisiVite i-defense gold formula . I HAVE MACULAR DEGENERATION IN THE RIGHT EYE COMBINED WITH SEVERE MYOPIA AND A PARTIAL VITREOUS DETACHMENT. I HAD FIRST NOTED THE WAVY LINES EVEN BEFORE THE AREDS STUDY HAD BEEN COMPLETED AND NOTED THAT MY VISION IN THE RIGHT EYE WAS DOWNWARDS. AFTER READING THE AREDS STUDY, I HAVE NOW BEEN TAKING AT FIRST THE VISIVITE ORIGINAL FORMULA AND NOW THE YELLOW FORMULA FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS AND HAVE BEEN GOING TO THE LOW VISION CLINIC AT MOOREFIELD'S  EYE HOSPITAL FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS AND THERE HAS BEEN NO CHANGE IN MY VISION, SO IT HAS NOT DETERIORATED FURTHER.

About 10 years ago my husband went for a routine eye examination for glasses. At that time the doctor suggested he go to a specialist and have his eyes checked before he could prescribe glasses. Well we made an appointment and after going thru many tests the doctor said he had Macular Degeneration and it was too late to do anything for the left eye and he would have to have the right eye checked every six months to see if it was starting.  So of course we started to look into vitamins that were known to keep the eyes healthy and happened to talk to someone that had the same problem and was going to the VA Hospital for check ups.  They suggested VisiVite as it had many vitamins in it that proved helpful for good eye health. He has been taking these along with other supplements and thank God the right eye has been healthy and we go to the specialist every 6 months to have it checked. Along with him giving up smoking and taking these vitamins hopefully this will slow down this disease or prevent it affecting the right eye.
